BRIAN SWINFORD moved to Nashville from Kentucky to pursue his comedy dream and it didn’t take him very long to become one of the most talked about, up and coming, comics in the city. His dedication to his art and hard work sets him apart from other comics. His background as a youth pastor and his relentless quest for learning the art of comedy have helped Brian rise to the top of the local stand-up scene. Brian’s unique brand of humor entertains everyone from drunken bar patrons to drunken churchgoers.
Brian helped start Nashville Comedy Chaos -- a production company that was designed to promote local Nashville comics and give them an outlet past the open mike scene. After NCC ran its course, Brian teamed up with two of his closest comedy friends and formed The Three Brians of Comedy.
Brian has shared the stage with several nationally touring comics including his mentor Rik Roberts, Ralphie May, Dan Whitehurst, Beth Donahue and Henry Phillips to name a few. Always looking to improve, he took national touring comic Rik Roberts’ writing and performance classes as well as Latenight with David Letterman’s audience warm up and talent coordinator Eddie Brill’s. Additionally, he’s studied comedy courses ranging from Judy Carter’s to Jon Cantu’s.
